Art Camp
Terms and Conditions

By registering for The Paint Palate Art Camp, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

No Refund Policy

All registrations are non-refundable, including absences due to illness, injury, vacation, scheduling conflicts, or dismissal due to behavior. Camp supplies, materials, and staffing are prepared in advance based on enrollment. Please confirm your availability before completing registration, as no credits or transfers will be issued.

Age Policy

This camp is designed for children ages 7–15. Campers must meet this age requirement by the first day of the session. We reserve the right to deny participation if age criteria are not met.

Parent Attendance Policy

For the safety and independence of all campers, parents or guardians are not permitted to attend or stay during camp hours.

Behavior Expectations

Campers are expected to behave respectfully, follow all instructions from staff, and treat peers and materials with care. Inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal without refund.

Clothing Policy

Aprons are provided, but they do not fully protect clothing. Campers may use materials like acrylic paint, oil pastels, and glue, which can stain or damage clothing. Please dress your child in play clothes appropriate for messy art.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Drop-off and pickup procedures will be clearly communicated, and campers will be supervised at all times by trained staff.

Pickup Policy

Campers must be picked up promptly at the end of their session (11:00 AM for morning camp and 4:00 PM for afternoon camp). A $15 late fee will be charged if a camper is not picked up within 15 minutes of dismissal. After the 15-minute grace period, an additional $1 per minute will apply. Campers will not be permitted to return to camp until the late fee is paid in full. If you are experiencing an emergency or unavoidable delay, please call us as soon as possible to inform staff.

Photo/Video Consent

Photos or videos may be taken during camp for promotional purposes on social media or marketing materials.

  • By registering, you grant permission for The Paint Palate to use images or videos of your child.

  • If you do not consent, you must notify us in writing before the first day of camp.

Assumption of Risk

Participation in art activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of art tools, paints, and materials. Acrylic paint is used frequently and does not wash out of clothing. By enrolling, you acknowledge and accept these risks on behalf of your child and agree to dress them appropriately.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, The Paint Palate will make every effort to contact the parent/guardian or emergency contact. If necessary, emergency medical services will be called, and you authorize our staff to seek appropriate care. Any medical expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Allergies & Health Conditions

Parents/guardians must disclose all allergies (e.g., food, environmental, medication) or health conditions that may affect their child’s participation. We are a nut-free camp, and a nut-free snack and drink are provided daily.

Release of Liability

By enrolling, you release and hold harmless The Paint Palate, its instructors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising from injury, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property during participation in camp.
